I would like to install PragmaMX but it wont install at all.

I get the language question.... then I get the GNU licence. I click submit with the correct answer of course, and then the installer jumps back to the first screen.

I have no problems installing other CMS software packages, so I don't think its a problem with my computer setup.
I'm running SuSE10 X64

Hope anyone can help me

Well kaniehof,

This CMS (pragmaMx) has been installed  1000 times successfully.  Of course there is a handicape with the language but i think your comment about the setup of your computer is insufficient .

Answer please the following questions:

1. Do you have apache server installed at your local computer ? if so what version.

2. Do you have MySql-database installed? if so what version.

3. Do you have php installed ?, if so what version.

You must have at least following features installed :

PHP Version 4.1.0
MySql Version 3.23.xx
Apache Version 2.x.xx

Let's know the configuration you got there.

I have all  those requirements installed....
they come from the SuSE10 x64 resources.

I have installed MAMBO and JOOMLA without any problems.
Maybe its a setting in PHP.... Global_vars = on or something.

The versions of: PHP = 4.4.0
Apache/2.0.54 (Linux/SUSE)
MySQL Version   4.1.13

I agree there must be some weird error. I have also tried to set all file permission to 777, but that also didn't work
